Aterciopelados - Baracunatana

"Baracunatana" is a Colombian folk song composed by Leonidas Plaza and recorded in the mid-1980s by singer Lisandro Meza. The Colombian alternative rock band Aterciopelados included a cover of the song on their third studio album, La Pipa de la Paz (1996). The song was released in 1996 as the lead single from the album. The song topped the Vitrola Stereo's TOP15 for one week on January 4, 1997.
