"Missing" is a song by English musical duo Everything but the Girl. It was released on August 8, 1994 as the second single from their eighth studio album, Amplified Heart (1994). It was re-released on October 16, 1995 as Todd Terry remix and resulting in worldwide success. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 (February 17, 1996) and number 3 on the UK singles chart (November 25, 1995 - 2 weeks).
