"The Loco-Motion" is a 1962 pop song written by American songwriters Gerry Goffin and Carole King. Eva Boyd (Little Eva) recorded it as a demo, which was released in June 1962 as her debut. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for one week on August 25, 1962.
