The Latin Recording Academy has announced that renowned Latin Grammy and Grammy winner, Laura Pausini, will receive the prestigious title of the 2023 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
The annual tribute gala, which honors exceptional musicians in the Latin music industry while supporting the charitable endeavors of the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation®, will recognize Pausini for her illustrious career as a versatile performer and her unwavering dedication to social justice causes. Notably, Pausini has been an advocate for women's rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and the fight against world hunger.
Manuel Abud, the CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, praised Pausini, stating, "Laura Pausini is one of the most talented and beloved artists of her generation, whose commitment to advocacy and equal rights is exemplary.
