"Lady Marmalade" is a song written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan, originally for Nolan's disco group. The song first became a popular hit when it was recorded in 1974 by the American R&B group Labelle. Their version was released in November 5, 1974 and peaked to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 29, 1975, it stay on top for one week.
