"Convoy" is a 1975 novelty song performed by C. W. McCall (a character co-created and voiced by Bill Fries, along with Chip Davis). Released in November 1975, the song became a number-one song on the Billboard Hot 100 in Januay 10 1976 for a week and is listed 98th among Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Country Songs of All Time.
