"La Pioggia" (The Rain) is a song by italian singer Gigliola Cinquetti. It was presented at the 1969 Sanremo Festival by Cinquetti in a double performance with France Gall, and ranked in sixth place. It was included on her fifth album "Il treno dell'amore" (1969). Various versions were recorded in different languages, including Japanese, French, Spanish, German and English.
