It was released in December 1992 as the first single from their seventh studio album self-titled (1993), commonly known as The Wedding Album. The single reached number one on the US Billboard Mainstream Top 40. It also peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart.
